MEET TEAM FIERCE
Team Fierce has a common goal: to empower you to live your most authentic life through Fierce Movement Yoga!
MELANIE Larocco-Sedlack
OWNER/FOUNDER - YOGA
Melanie Sedlack has studied dance and yoga for nearly her entire life. She knows that movement of all kinds, especially Power Vinyasa Yoga, can be a powerful tool to help you transform into your authentic way of being. The goal of this style of yoga is to help you look within yourself, to discover your true purpose and let it radiate out into the world. Melanie has spent the last eight years of her life immersed in the study of Yoga as a student and teacher of the practice. Melanie has completed over 500 hours of training, and is a Tier 1 Baptiste Certified Leader with Baptiste Yoga. She continues to place her yoga education as a high priority and plans to continue her training in 2021. Her yoga journey has been an access to discovering what is possible in her life when she puts her attention on what she wants to have happen and then lives it! It is about living in a conscious and intentional way so that she can create unlimited possibilities in her life on and off her yoga mat. Melanie’s passion for yoga, dance and fitness has inspired her to bring the synergy of these different movement styles to the Fierce Movement community. Her wish is to create a community where everybody feels welcome, safe & loved, and where it’s possible to be in the creation of your own personal transformation!
Adriana hoxie
restorative YOGA
Adriana began practicing yoga after college and realized how regular physical activity helped her feel more connected to herself and body. She started teaching yoga and fitness classes in 2007 after getting her group fitness certification. She received her 200-hour YTT in 2008 though West Hartford Yoga and completed her Therapeutic Yoga Teacher training in 2013. She loves taking a restorative approach to teaching, allowing participants to find balance. She enjoys practicing yoga with a deep body connection, as her first yoga teacher was Kripalu trained, and offers this to her students.
GRAHAM PASTOR
YOGA
Graham Pastor first started practicing yoga at a Bikram studio in 2011. He was drawn to the physical and mental challenges the practice provided. Taking a step away from yoga, he spent a few years exploring different forms of exercise before returning to a formal yoga practice in 2018. He completed his Baptiste Level 1 in November of 2020, to become a Certified Baptiste Power Yoga Instructor. He has a deep interest in the physical, mental, and philosophical aspects of the practice. He is continuing his yoga education through 2021 and beyond in order to deepen his own practice and share all of the benefits with others.
CHERISE COLOMBO
YOGA
Cherise enrolled in her teacher training in 2022 with the intention to deepen her personal practice, push through her limiting beliefs and to broaden her mindsets. Soon after completion she started teaching yoga classes and really enjoys guiding others through the magic that unfolds through the practice of movement, breath and focus. Her classes seek to connect students with their inner knowing and lead them towards discovering their own personal power and strengths. Yoga is her passion and she is devoted to her daily practice. Off the mat she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking & baking, reading, spending time outdoors on retreats and connecting with nature on walks & hikes
Susan Martin
YOGA
I took my first yoga class in 2015 after being diagnosed with primary progressive MS. I used to be a runner, but with a drop foot, running was no longer an option. I always loved to be active and my neurologist suggested starting a yoga practice. I was hooked! I love all types of yoga – but my favorite is power yoga in a heated room. I have had incredible teachers along my journey and I am grateful for each one of them. I am also passionate about spending time with my 3 adult children, hiking and traveling. I hope to teach my students to embrace any imperfections they have or think they have. This practice has kept my body strong and focused. My balance is better because of Yoga. I hope to see you on your mats in my class or in the studio!
